DUMMY DOCTORING
Are you an artist with an unpublished photobook? Then bring your dummy and self-published book to have them reviewed by a panel of international experts. The popular two-day Photobook Dummy Doctoring Workshop will allow artists to present their dummies to international professionals to gain valuable feedback and advice.
Bookmaking has become a more democratic process, available to everyone, and has also converged with other media such as photography, architecture, and even time-based media forms. The aim of the Dummy Doctoring Workshop is to introduce a wider audience to the concept of self-publishing, and to help the artists take their projects to another level.

Duration: Each doctoring session lasts 20-30 minutes.

BOOKMAKING & PREPRINTING
The process for doing a self-published book can be complicated, and in order to maintain a good relationship with your designer and printer, you need to know your maths. Therefore, we have asked designer and printmaking specialist Louise Sidenius to create a two-day hands-on seminar on Bookmaking and Preprinting. Sidenius is among the winners of the international “Best book design from all over the world” prize 2015. She is also the creative director and founder of Officin ApS, a graphic design studio, printmaking facility, bookbindery and occasional exhibition space. This workshop shows you how to streamline the process of bookmaking and adjust your book, so it is ready to print.
